Graduating from Otago School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art, Andrea has developed her art practice since 1995. She lives with her family on the South Coast of Wellington, New Zealand. She is influenced by her interactions within Aotearoa and its changeable marine weather environment. Andrea balances her studio time with teaching visual art at secondary level.
